The world needs your art, just as it’s needed all art until now. Will it be as good as other people’s art? It doesn’t matter, it really doesn’t. If you start from a place of comparison you are already blocking your creative flow. You be you - you’re more qualified than any being on this planet to create YOUR art. And when you create something authentic, from the heart, people can feel it.

You may not know what your own art looks like yet. What is your style? That’s all good -  The details and surprises that make up a creative journey are pure magic.

I’m here to help you get there, because the truth is, the things that hold you back are mostly imaginary. And the real ones (like time and money) can be incrementally chipped away.

See the next section to answer your most common reasons not to paint.

The first step in any process is to start. It sounds like an obvious task, but it’s often the one task that’s left ignored, resulting in a life half-lived, and potential untapped.

Start. With no expectations or view of how it will end. Start with an open heart and an open head, and let yourself be an empty vessel through which creativity flows. It is not your job to push or pull the creativity/artistry out of your mind or your hands, it is only your responsibility to clear the way for the infinite power of creative energy that resides in each and every cell of your body.

Think of your creativity as a FLOW, rather than a HUSTLE. What we’re going to discover through this process is how to turn the tap on, how to clear the blockages that slow your creativity down to a trickle.

I’ll take you through some of the most common blockages, and offer a few ways to politely move them aside. Then we’ll work on a way to tap into the glorious inspiration waiting behind them.
