                                Stage 5: Evaluate and Edit

Now it’s time to take your painting to its best potential. You’ve got a layer or five of experimentation down, maybe you like it, maybe you don’t. If you don’t, there’s a good chance you don’t know WHY it’s not working. I have a checklist of things I look for when you’re faced with a painting you’re not in love with.

If you’re not in love with it, it’s probably not finished.

The below modules suggest elements to look for.

How do I know if it’s finished?

                                          FAQ

Will you teach me how to paint?

No. Everyone can paint. I will teach you how to open up to the world, get excited about it, then translate that excitement into abstract art.

Do I need any painting skills to do this course?

No, but you do need a desire to paint. Previous painting experience might help with things like mixing colour, composition and picking brushes, but sometimes a new artist, with no experience, is able to create a truely unique style. Whatever stage you're at, there is always room to learn and grow, and I can help with that.

How long will the course take?

You can take as long as you want. You could get it all done in a day, but you might miss out on the perspective changing work that comes with it. I suggest taking your time, with doing a little each day.

What sort of supplies do I need?

I personally use acrylics on canvas, but this course is not specific to any materials. Whatever works for you, and if you're not sure what works for you - keep experimenting.. there's no need to settle down!

                                          How does this course work?

The course includes  inner work and a practical process. Both are important, and you can do them concurrently. I’ve set them up to alternate between Inner and Practical -  but feel free to do any of the inner work in any order you like.

Also, all modules are made to be repeated at will, forever.
